When Sameer Kochhar, a dedicated Donor and Mentor at Xcelevate Skills Foundation, travelled from Gurugram to Chennai with his wife Vandana Kochhar, it reflected something deeper than support it reflected true commitment.

As the donor-mentor to two of our apprentices, Charumathi R and Sakthisri Anburaj, Sameer has been closely involved in their journey through both financial support and consistent mentorship. This visit added a powerful new dimension — presence.

Spending a full day with our apprentices, he conducted an immersive, hands-on session on Prompt Engineering. The workshop was practical, interactive, and future-focused helping participants develop critical thinking, structure their ideas clearly, and communicate effectively with AI tools. The room was filled with curiosity, thoughtful questions, and growing confidence.

There were no grand arrangements.
Just simple snacks, open conversations, focused learning, and genuine mentorship.

And that is what meaningful impact looks like.

When mentors invest their time, resources, and knowledge, they do more than teach — they expand vision and possibility.

For Charumathi and Sakthisri, this visit was a strong affirmation from someone who truly believes in their potential.
For all apprentices, it was exposure to future-ready skills.
For us, it reinforced a simple truth: real change happens when support becomes personal and commitment turns into action.
